They're still going to smash your window but if you have to leave valuable stuff in the car, it seems like a good idea.

I plan to 3D print a set for my M3P. The latches should be in the trunk to unlock the seats, and not on the seats in the main cabin, so you can secure valuables in the trunk. The 3D printed workaround to secure the trunk seems like a quick and effective solution.
