I placed an order for a MX Plaid yesterday and going through the steps in the Tesla app today to get a final purchase agreement. So far so good until I got to the "Financial Partner Information" page, which is between "Trade-In" and "Schedule" stages of the Tesla app.
At the bottom of the "Financial Partner Information" page is a field for "Amount Financed". That left me confused as I don't know the total purchase amount including taxes, and I probably won't get it until I get past this page. I do have an order agreement that has destination fee, order fee (that was already charged to my credit card), price adjustment, etc. Can I simply enter that for the time being?
I haven't reached out to my credit union as they are closed today on Sunday. I'm not looking to having them finance the entire purchase. My down payment should cover taxes and a considerable principal amount.
