Setting up private number plate in app and account

I've just dug out my old private number plate and transferred it to my 1 year old M3LR.
How do I get my Tesla account to recognise the new number, as the old original is obviously still assigned with the vin no. ?
I would like to see the number on the app, as well as in my Tesla account.

Or do I just leave it as the original number in the tesla account?

Don't bother, Tesla only go by the VIN so the reg no is irrelevant to them.
