Sirius FM radio - "not equipped for Sirius" error?

I tried to sign up online to SiriusFM but when I entered my VIN number, it
reflected an error saying, "This car is not equipped for SiriusFM?" Any suggestions?

Do you have the upgraded audio and a pano roof? I think that is the only combo that allows XM now.

The Model S (with pano roof) only has SiriusXM (not FM). You should be able to tune into the XM radio by selecting Radio and then XM on the center screen. Once you have your Radio ID (from channel 0 or 1), you can enable XM on the SiriusXM website. You need the Radio ID, not your VIN number.

I have the same issue, even with using the radio ID. I know I have Sirius capability because there was a free two week trial for all (?) radios last month and it worked then.

Sirius is going to be asking for your Radio ID, not VIN.
