Small door ding

This site may earn commission on affiliate links.
Someone must have opened their door and tapped my driver door. I took a few pictures but it is hard to see in a photo. Doesn’t really give it justice. It is small but noticeable. Right on that crease which probably makes it harder if not impossible to do anything.

Does anyone know possible fixes?? Not trying to go crazy, nothing stays new forever. But just wondering if anyone has experience with this kind of repair.

Paintless dent repair is pretty commonly done, and the results often look like there was never any dent. These guys can work miracles.

I'd ask around at local car dealerships, or perhaps a local car wash for some recommendations.

I had mine fixed right on the line of the door like yours. Unfortunately it’s either take the interior door piece or drill a hole from inside the door to fix it. The guy popped a plastic inset where the hole from the drill was. Looks stock though so it doesn’t bother me.

It was on the line on the front before the passenger door handle. The black plastic circle is the insert where he drilled. If it wasn’t on the line he would have used the heat glue gun with the suction cup. He used that on a different area that was flat. He is from San Jose, Ca and charges around $100 a dent depending on size.

A bicycle T boned my passenger door, similar damage. Paintless dent repair did a good job...I can still see the injury if I look at it in the right light sideways but significantly improved.
