So is there an archived old school configurator site anywhere?

You know, build your own Model S from around 2015 or so where you can customize damn near anything?

I really miss it. The current configurator is too much like ordering a macbook.

I think they’ve pared down the number of choices to improve manufacturing efficiency and drive down mill costs. They are trying to move a lot of cars these days. That works better with a smaller number of configurations. Downside is fewer choices for customers. I don’t think they’ll bring back lots of options in the near future. Heck, even the off-menu stuff is disappearing.

Oh. To be clear I'm not looking to configure a build of the model S with any special options or anything.

I just want a working replica or snapshot of their configurator from around 2015. I've tried the wayback machine, not much luck there.
