Software update required! Manually update - Model 3 [Note car repaired after a crash]

Did you figure out a solution? I’m having a similar problem. SRS light on and notifications for software update is required gtw_w037 and gtw_w098 but firmware appears up to to date.

I requested a software update and my errors cleared.

Not sure if this would help. but I had my headlight replaced recently and the tech told me there’ll be a software update. Until I install the update, I’ll have a warning message like what you described
The tech explained that it’s like plugging in a mouse to a computer, it needs to install a driver for the new install.

Maybe ask Tesla and ask them to push an update to your car?

This is a guess, but you may be able to use an android emulator on PC, set GPS location to UPS in the emulator, and then try downloading to the emulated phone?
