Does solar trickle charge work for model x? For the 12v

It may depend on the year, and you may have to add a jumper, but the 12v plugs are not connected after a few minutes the car is powered off. You could connect straight to the battery, but that's not easy to get to. The 12v battery is charged by the main battery, even if the car is off and not plugged in, so there really isn't a big need for this.
