Does anyone know how to commission on Solaredge app? I tried and it keeps saying to contact installer. I contacted tesla and they are clueless.

I did and they were like we don’t know. After they left, I contacted Tesla via chat and they said they will find out

The installer provides the access after inserting a sim card with antenna. Once that is done, you can see the usage by panel and by inverter string using the Solar Edge app. But, the installer needs to provide the logical layout in the Solar Edge app if you want to know where individual panels are on the roof. My installer did the former but has not done the latter yet so I can only guess where each panel is located. The only real advantage I see in the SolarEdge site over the Tesla app is that you are able to see if any of your panels are not functioning (which would be rare).

I contacted Tesla and they said I can request the access for both tesla and solaredge monitoring after I have PTO (Permission to Operate).
