Sound Deadening DIY Tips and Tricks

To my fellow Model S tinkerers -

I used the Decibel X app on my phone to get a reading on local roads, recorded 68-70 db on our 2023 MS Refresh. Our Lexus SUV recorded 58-62 db on the same roads. On a well-paved freeway though, it drops down to 65 for the MS at least but seems like there’s some room for improvement here.

Anyone have some DIY ways to quiet the cabin a bit? Most of it comes from the wheel wells it seems, less so wind, at least on mine.

We can debate build quality and why these cars are perhaps louder than they should be in other existing threads but want to keep this thread to creative ways on how to address this in the Model S.

Thanks all!
