This mission will be the second and final one for Tranche 0. There will be 11 Transport Layer satellites, 10 from Lockheed Martin and 1 by York Space Systems; as well as 2 Tracking Layer satellites both manufactured by SpaceX. Target orbit is a 1000km circular orbit at roughly 82º inclination. Payload mass is estimated to be around 5 tonnes.. The Transport layer is an interoperable mesh network of satellites intended to provide periodic low-latency and high-capacity data connectivity, while the Tracking Layer consists of interconnected satellites with cross-links and wide field of view infrared sensors for hypersonic missile tracking.
