Every time I see a double booster landing, I think it is the closest thing I’ve ever seen IRL to the science fiction rocket stories I loved as a kid.

GTOs are often launched into eclipse, so it wouldn’t be a major shock if they’d never seen a deployment.
Almost as far out as that last image from the Roadster headed out to Mars orbit. So very cool.
Another video clip of the boosters landing. This time, it shows the sonic boom affecting a cloud layer.
SO GOOD! Ive never "seen" a sonic boom before!
Nice view of the landing, too, with good demonstration of horizontal control.
