Spiderweb (and spider) in the quarter panel tail light!

Some time ago, I noticed a spider had somehow gotten into my driver side quarter panel tail light and spun a web in there! Obviously there ain't much to catch in there, so it died, and now every time I plug in my car, I'm bothered by this. Anyone know if this is something Tesla will replace under warranty, or is that basically at their discretion?

They used to replace them but I think just recently they've changed the policy and now it's "cosmetic" and they won't replace it. Definitely worth trying though.

I've only had a couple of minor warranty stuff done, do they usually tell you ahead of time if they're going to charge you for it?

I just got both sides replaced for bugs ‍
