Stop and Hold on Plaid Question

Per my understanding when the car stops it applies the brake (thus you see hold on the screen), but if you touch the brakes again on a stop, the hold goes away, is the Car suppose to roll backward if on up incline (the car is still in Drive)? or if your on a down incline is the car suppose to roll forward when no hold is active?

I am asking because I did change my rotors recently to the MPP 400mm big kit which are slightly thicker, and I wanted to make sure the installer did actually compress the pads enough before installing back the caliber so they are not rubbing always against the rotor. I did not have the car for a long time so I am not aware of how it should behave. on my driveway (up incline) the car does not roll back on either Drive or Reverse when the hold is gone until I give it some go pedal, but if I put the car in Neutral it rolls immediately.

Thanks,
