I am sitting in the parking lot at this Starbucks location right now. There is still no sign of supercharger construction. as others have stated, there is a new building going in next door but I stepped out and talked to one of the guys over there and he didn’t know anything about Tesla superchargers.

I can’t seem to edit my above comment on the mobile site but, I just spoke to one of the guys doing construction next-door and that location is set to be a car wash.
Haven't been down in a while. Was going to go check this week... need to go to Brownwood anyway for something else.
Nothing new. Drove through today and no signs of any construction at or around the Starbucks... aside from whatever is being built next to the Starbucks but that doesn't seem to be Supercharger related.
Unless someone else checks in with a report, I try to drive by monthly. It's a bit out of the way for me to go a lot but once a month is fine.
Ok, figured out what is going next-door to the Starbucks. It's a Tidal Wave Auto Spa (and they are hiring! lol). So, most likely not Supercharger related at all. Still no signs of any construction at the Starbucks. There is a large-ish space at the CEFCO across the street that is coned off now. Probably means nothing but was interesting. I don't see that space being used for superchargers though since part of that coned off area has a bunch of valve covers to fill the underground tanks.
Not really sure what's going on with this site in Early. It's been filed for almost a year now with what seems like no movement. Hamilton, San Angelo and Post were all filed around the same time as this one was or later and are either done or finishing up construction. Early doesn't have any databases online with their permitting and inspections department either so can't really look up anything related to the status of the job with the city. Based on their web site, all that stuff is still mostly paper based. To file a permit, you have to download the application and fill it out and then email it to the city contact listed on their web page... or I assume walk it in and hand it off in person.

The Abilene one isn't on it either. I'd actually thought they had abandoned putting "coming soon" spots on the map. Guess not, or whoever is in charge of those spots is very inconsistent with keeping the map updated.
Drove by over the weekend. Still no obvious work being done in and around the Starbucks.

If you haven't gone already, just use the Hamilton, TX charger. It's not that far out of the way time-wise, and is how I make the trip.
Sad that the Early charger seems to be hella delayed.

Finally got the FSD demo on my Model S "Raven" Long Range Plus this morning, then took a trip to Brownwood for lunch at Underwood's and wander around downtown a bit. Nice trip, but I wasn't able to turn up anything new about the Supercharger station.
It was my first experience with FSD, and it was both kind of amazing and has some obvious rough edges.
