Tesla and motorsport

As a car enthusiast, I adore Tesla as an avant-garde car manufacturer. However, there is one thing I would like to see from Tesla is motorsport. I do think that motorsport is the pinnacle of car manufacturing and technology, but it seems that Tesla and Elon don't really care about it, do they. While launching the I-Pace, Jaguar announced the racing I-Pace eTrophy. Audi is also going to launch a racing e-tron soon. Also, both of them participate in Formula E.

Do you like to see racing Teslas soon?

that's cool! however it would be cooler if this racing receive factory support from Tesla, like the I-Pace eTrophy serie. I love seeing factory effort in motor racing.
