Just downloaded the new Tesla App. Refering to the new Tesla SW 2018.24 with speed limit and acceleration setup!

Just got it as well. Looks like 2018.24 should be out very soon. But not sure what I would use this for. I.E. No kids driving my car. And I have valet mode as well.

Limit vehicle speed and acceleration with Speed Limit Mode. Maximum vehicle speed can be set between 50-90 mph (80-145 km/h).

NOTE: Requires vehicle software version 2018.24 or above.

Sounds to me like it's better than valet mode. If I used valet mode, I'd set this to 50 MPH for sure. I assume 'acceleration' means 'Chill Mode'.

And if we are on the 'usual' (lol) schedule, 2018.24 should have come out somewhere today. Didn't see it....

Another feature that 99.9% of the Tesla owners will NEVER use. Why not put the manpower in activating the side camera's, better navigation software etc etc etc.

I doubt the same developers work on both mobile apps and AP. In fact, mobile could even be farmed out being it doesn’t change that often.
