As of today, the so called China Version Tesla Model S actually is as same as it in the US, I did not see any changes of the backseats, at least the sales guy of the store did not mention this in particularly. It is also not true that the so called nouveau rich like to sit in the backseats and hired driver does the driving, the Chinese who are willing to buy MS are as same as the owners of the other part of the world. people like to drive the car rather than sitting in the backseat!

It looks like the screens have not yet been localized. I wonder if that's how the final version will be? Did they mention anything about that?

I was told that it will be localized into Chinese, even the map, they will probably use local map provider.

Agreed! It's much more fun to drive this car than to sit in the backseat.
