Tesla hoist pads???

I have a flat tire and Costco told me that I need to bring the pads so they can hoist it safely. Where do I buy those and why Tesla doesn’t sell them in the online store?

You can find then all over the internet since early 2018 (all different shapes sizes materials and hence prices).

Tesla SCs use their own special hoist/lift pads and/or opt to damage the life point and batteries, place extra stress on peoples undercarriage and battery.

If Costco knew what they were doing they could also use well-placed jacks under the lower control arms to lift the front or back enough to patch/replace the tire too, but they are likely CYAing, looking to avoid damaged induced litigation.

I purchased these $16 jack pads from Amazon. They just come in a small cardboard box (no carrying bag), but it's not big deal. I keep them in the lower compartment of my trunk just in case I need tire service from a 3rd party (such as Costco).
