Tesla Model S retractable roof noise

I’m going to schedule service with Tesla, but curious if anyone has ever experienced this noise with their roof on their MS? I’ll post findings from Tesla when complete.

Let us know how the service goes. I would avoid trying to use it in the meantime. Hopefully it still seals!!!

Follow up - Tesla said that it probably needed a "roof rebuild" and that they wont know if it needs a full rebuild until it gets in and they dig into it. They said a full rebuild would cost around $4k. I reminded them that I had the extended warranty, for which their system didnt show. After providing evidence, magically the estimate dropped down to $1400 if it wasn't covered under the extended warranty...hmm? After rescheduling the repair 3 times now due to parts not being available, I am scheduled to drop it off next week Thursday (barring any additional parts delays). I will send an update when I learn more.
