There is definitely size difference between the M3 and the MY. The MY is a lot bigger see the first pictures I have taken last Sunday

Yes if I can compare it is pretty much the same than my Honda CRV or slightly smaller

Would you say is much small than the X?

People say it's comparable to a bmw x3. I saw the iX in Trafford a few weeks ago and was really underwhelmed by it. Though official dimensions state it's actually bigger than the MY (apart from the boot capacity).

It is difficult to say, because it is not the same shape. I own the honda CRV 2016 and it is definitely longer and wider than the CRV but not taller. The BMW X3 has got roughly the same dimension than the CRV. And remembering the shape of that car, for me the MY is bigger but not as high. When you are seating inside there's a lot of space and definitely bigger than the CRV and the boot is pretty much the same, therefore bigger than the X3 boot My son hold the M3 and I can say that the MY is definitely bigger than the M3. For me MY is the M3 bigger with a proper hatchback. The seats are higher from the ground than my CRV, there's plenty of head room but you may need to lower your head a little when getting out through the door of you are above my size (1m72)
