Tesla vs Aftermarket Mud Splash Guards

Anyone know how Tesla's mud flaps compare to the aftermarket ones?

On paper the aftermarket ones sound superior. 1/2 the price, you get 2x as many (all 4 wheels vs just front 2), and easier to install.

Are there any advantages to Tesla's?

I want to paint the mud flap white before installing the flaps, I saw a few white spray can ($5 each) at Lowes

1st Question: Which white at Lowes is closest to the Tesla white.

2nd Question: Do I need to spray the primer before the white cost?

That is less destructive than Tesla's. Tesla's require cutting the underbody cover with scissors. See step 5. Do It Yourself - Model 3

The Tesla model appears to also offer you PPF for the dogleg, where the rear wheel arch flares out. The mudflaps, protect the rockers, but this dogleg area will still need protection. On the other hand, most flap kits give you four. The Tesla kit appears to have four, but all of them are for the fronts. I wonder if anyone has tried adapting the longer flaps for the rear.

I just got my white mud flaps in. The paint looks pretty close. I’ll be installing them this weekend and post a picture
