Has anyone tried an outdoor car cover? Any recommendations?

I own and use both the indoor and outdoor one. Highly recommended, depending on your use case.

If applied to a clean car and kept clean themselves (large laundry machine once or twice a year and air dry after) these will not damage your paint, plastic, trim or glass.

Did you use the OEM? Or 3rd party cover?

Both OEM. Great fit, finish, materials.
(Been using car covers for 20+ years, including simply for dust and construction debris protection in large garage facilities).

Be careful, the previous owner of my car used one every day and it really messed up the paint. Dust gets between the cover and can leave swirl marks, even on a high quality cover.

Bad example, car covers are not an everyday thing (unless you have time to ONR or two-bucket wash and then dry the car before replacing the cover).

If the choice is between tar, tree sap, bird droppings, concrete/calcium run off water spots, a thick multi-day layer of dust or construction debris OR the car cover... choose the car cover.

Used those on previous cars... o, but meh at their price-point compared to the equally overpriced OE Tesla accessory equivalents... which coincidentally fit better and might actually be manufactured by CCC.
