A buddy of mine is debating between a model S LR and model 3 perf. He has a model 3 MR (bought in 2019) which is now driven by a family member. And he loves spirited driving on the roads. He currently drives a MX and wants a change, specifically with the driving feel of the car. So he is looking at model S LR vs m3p. I used to own a model s 2017 and it obviously was a heavy car. The latest s is 4500-4900lbs. Wanted to know if w/ the latest mods of the LR model (suspension/anti roll bars etc) whether its cornering capabilities/nimbleness have improved ? Is there anyone in the austin region that can assist in this regard and possibly provide a test drive ?
ps. he is not interested in the plaid since that is beyond what he wants to spend rn.
