After consulting a few other owners we know, we decided to have the following installed:

XPEL ceramic window film
Left a few messages at a local place, got no response, then tried again and actually got ahold of the guy.
While arranging a time a few weeks hence to come in (They're very busy), we mentioned that we're taking the vehicle on a 1400 mile journey the middle of next week. Horrified, the guy insisted that we bring the car in right away. Said he'd do whatever it took to get it done before the trip.
This kind of customer service is very refreshing indeed.
