Thermal Sun Shades

I'm finding on long trips, on really cold days (-20*c), it is hard to keep the interior warm and comfy. There is cold air falling from the pano roof all around my head and shoulders..... so I bought a set of sunshades and attached a thin thermal reflective cloth to them and popped them in place. They look good. The next few days will see if they help with the cold!

Any chance you can post some pictures of what you made?

I have also found that stuffing a small scarf or hat into the small triangular window space just behind A-pillar, far enough forward to not obstruct my view to my driver's side mirror, makes a big difference in cold body drafts when temps are low. Years ago I had the car in to have the driver's door striker adjusted to help with drafting from the driver's door but still find I need to do the scarf method, esp on winter road trips.

It is lined with very thin Thinsulate . sun1.jpg sun2.jpg sun3.jpg sun2.jpg
