Tire replacement

Tire replacement Have a puncture in her left rear tire Goodyear Eagle 245 45r 19 which apparently can’t be repaired in that it is recurrent. Seem to have had a lot of punctures in these tires and a tire technician tells me that they are thin walled on purpose to reduce noise. Anybody know of any better alternative? Particularly Michelin’s always like them.

I have the MXM 4 and they are fine. Be warned, they are notorious for being out of round (run out), maybe flat spots, that will cause vibration at speed, no matter how many times it's balanced. It eventually goes away.

I'm sure the OP, who is on the opposite coast to you and was looking for tires three months ago, will be delighted to hear this.
