Just FYI in case anyone was looking to put on new tires before the weather starts getting colder (at least up here in the north anyways)... Verdestein Quatrac Pros in the OEM size for 20" inductions (255/40R20) are now back in stock at tirerack as of today. I've had them on backorder for months and just got notification they're finally shipping.

I find the Vrestein hypertrack are a better ride. Definitely smoother more quiet and longer tread life with no drop off in performance.

The Hypertrack are not severe snow rated so that is a turnoff for many.
True but most Tesla owners (on this forum) live in a warm weather climate so across-the-board a better choice for rain. I live in Irvine where approximately 25% of all vehicles on the road are Tesla. And AWD makes them good for all but deep snow- then chains are probably advisable.

It would be interesting to see your data for how you have determined that most Tesla owners on this forum live in warm weather climates.

Regardless, the original post about these tires was specifically relating to using them in cold weather climates so your post suggesting an alternative warm weather tire is not very pertinent in this particular discussion.
