Trunk Compartment/Storage Space Velcro

Have any of you guys been able to find a velcro that sticks to the underside of the trunk compartment/storage space? I've tried a few velcro that was laying around the house and none stuck to the underside. It all fell off.

I want to use velcro to stick a motion light so I can see into the space at night. Or might even be good for holding a tire iron/wrench or first aid kit underneath.

It stuck for a while and then the fibers would come loose and need to be cleaned.

Yes, in old car I put velcro sticky tape on underside of plastic bins and stuck them down to the trunk so it wouldn't slide around. It's pretty tough to remove if you put too much. Something like VELCRO Brand 5 ft. x 3/4 in. Sticky Back Tape-91299 - The Home Depot

Just get a portable led light and keep it in there. Turn it on and off yourself.

Its much cheaper and easier.

I'd like to find some like they use on the bag that the charger is in or on the tire repair kit. It's ultra fine but it sticks to the carpet perfectly.

This velco worked for me, I use strips of it to secure a golf umbrella to the side/bottom corner of the trunk:

I do not know if this will stick to the underside, though. That might be more difficult.

Try cubicle mounting strips. They have a very fine hook texture for office cubicles.
