turn signal sometimes sticks on lane changes. Does anyone else have this problem?

My Model 3 (1918) turn signal sticks sometimes on lane changes. I can only get it unstuck by making a full reft or right turn. Any idea of what is causing this. I don't want to bring it in for service until it "reliably" sticks. On the other hand, driving down the highway with a turn signal bleeping is a good sign the person at the wheel needs repair rather than the vehicle.

You can't just tap it in the same or opposite direction to cancel the signal?
