Uninstalling/Removing HPWC

Hello Tesla fam, how easy/hard is it to remove Tesla wall charger? Found a good deal for gen 1 locally on Craigslist. They moved in recently and the previous owners left it. Is it simply a couple of screws and cover the box or is there more to it? I will get a professional to install it.

The manuals are available online. I think this is Gen 1:

Turn off the breaker first!

Hi Chandu_732,

It is not too bad to remove... A few fasteners in the right order.
You may want a helper to support the heavy part during the last
screw removals.

Some information you may want to know...
Our Gen 1 HPWC that worked well for my wife's 2015 Model S
did NOT WORK for my 2018 Model X.

I cannot guarantee that it will not work for you,
nor can I guarantee that it will work for you...
