Warm charging cable

I normally charge my 2015 P85D on Friday night and disconnect it in the morning. I drove a lot this past weekend and decided to top it off Sunday night. The garage was over 100 degrees so the car was as well. It is charged on the standard 240v 14-50 charger that comes with the car. When I disconnected it, I noticed the cord and plug were pretty hot. It was charging at 30amps and 27mph. Just wanted to know in this extreme heat if this is normal. No alarms or warnings from the car.
