Washing/cleaning advice

I have to park my Model 3 outside all the time, so I too have to find efficient but effective ways of keeping my car clean. I have a couple other ideas to offer to you:

1) Try a rinsless wash using Optimum No Rinse (aka ONR). A rinsless wash uses more water than a waterless wash, so it does give you more lubricity. As long as the car is only lightly to moderately dusty or dirty, you can do an ONR rinseless wash with no need to rinse off the car first. And because ONR encapsulates the dirt and dust particles, you don't have to use a 2 bucket method. One bucket will do.

2) If you want to dry the car fast without scratching it, you can either use forced air with a dryer like Mckees 37 Turbo Air Dryer or you can use a damp MF towel and Ammo NYC Hydrate (described in my earlier post above).

3) If you are not too concerned about cost, you could get a deionizing car wash ssystem like this one on amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/CR-Spotless-...+dry+car+wash+deionizer&qid=1583477019&sr=8-6

or this one on Costco's website:

https://www.costco.com/unger-professional-rinse'n'go-spotless-car-wash-system.product.100471577.html

With this system, you can wash your car, rinse, and then walk away. No need to do any drying at all. The car will dry spot free on its own.

BTW, I personally prefer not to use a California Duster. Larry from Ammo NYC (referenced above) advises against using them. He makes a strong argument that if you touch your car's paint with anything, it is always best to use a liquid to provide lubricity and to minimize the chance of scratching the paint. So instead of a California duster, he recommends a spray wax or detailer and a clean MF towel for dust removal between washes.

Hope that helps!
