Weird brake feel

Just bought a 2021 Model S, really excited and amazed by most aspects of the vehicle! The mechanical brakes seem weak and not linear though and don't really feel confident in emergency braking. Is it just me or am I still not used to the regenerative brakes?

These are not regenerative brakes, a completely separate system. Perhaps your brakes haven't bedded in completely yet?
