What's this 9.5% non-EV vehicles that Tesla is building?

The story does not say how they determined those percentages. One plausible explanation is that those percentages are total units sold divided by total units produced. Perhaps that 9 1/2% is inventory or demo/loaner vehicles produced.

I am sure that there are others.

Tesla used to be making cars only and it was called Tesla Motors.

Now it makes other things beside cars so it's called Tesla without the word "Motors".

I guess its non-motors department is Tesla Energy for your houses and business.

The article is weird. It first said the graph was market share and then changed it to the ‘percentage of its production’ story. If it’s really vehicles I have no idea what the calculation is for Tesla as they don’t make any other ‘vehicles’ and it’s not ‘sales’. Who knows at this point.
