Of course. That makes perfect nonsense. Stupid Trump Administration will actually help “evil, jobs killing” GM compete in EV’s as it will be next to max out tax credits after Tesla. I wonder if anyone in that tweety administration knows how to research anything.

Don't know how they're going to do it. Money bills must originate in the House, and the House come January, is going to be controlled by the Democrats.

Pretty unfortunate that this is a priority for the administration.

On the other hand, I do feel a bit guilty taking $7,500 back from the government to help with the purchase of a $100K car.

Downsizing an EV will make it lighter, sleeker and more affordable. In many countries where gasoline is 2 to 3 times more expensive than it is in the U.S., the breakeven point between conventional and electric will be much nearer. Instead of having to rely on EV tax credits, the EV user will actually get to save money then.

PLEASE! if you can afford $100,000 car you are probably already paying more than your fair share in taxes but if the guilt is just to much then you don't have to claim it or you could donate it to a favorite charity, just sayin' there are other options.

Actually lets get rid of ALL subsidies, oil, farm, ethanol, farm and dairy export, etc... Level the playing field
