Just a FYI.....in a Tesla car (test drive) I was able to charge my iPhone (with my Aubergine Folio) still on it.....what a plus not having to remove it......so convenient! It would probably do the same for an iPad or an iPad Mini. Yay!

side note: wasteful - takes more electricity
but nice to not use cables - cables end up in drawers & landfills - more pollution, sad.

I agree, Brando. Here’s a pic of the Folio. It’s leather. I thought it might overheat but it didn’t. Tesla Rep let us have the car for an hour (really nice guy!) so that was a good amount of test time for both the charger and the vehicle.
