My Model X is in production! YEAH! It arrives in 2 weeks. Anyone have a recommendation for a clear bra installer in the area? What about XPel vs. Suntek? Finally, should I have CQuartz put over the film?

I'm new so any advice is greatly appreciated.

For tint and clear bra check out Southwest Clear Bra and Tint in Naples. They do all of the high end cars.

These folks have been working on Teslas since day one, offer pretty much all paint treatment/coating services, have a trailer for pick-up and delivery, have a very good reputation, and can answer your detailed questions. If you have time, I would chat with them before you take delivery of your new fab X!

I was where you are now about 2 months ago re: clear bra, ceramic coating.
The biggest determining factor will be the installer experience. If they are experienced, PPF will be roughly equivalent. I happen to get Xpel Stealth because I wanted to have the matte finish. I did also get the Ceramic Pro coating for the hydrophobic properties and ease of cleaning. You won't go wrong with either product; I think Xpel has a 10 yr warranty on product defects i.e., peeling, yellowing, cracking, and Suntek I seem to have read somewhere that they have also increased their warranty from 5 to 10 years as well, but I can't find where I read that.

Anything is better than nothing, I think, and I was planning to keep the car for many years. so I went ahead with the investment.

Thanks guys! I am going with Power of Excellence for my clear bra and ceramic coating. I am wrapping the entire vehicle and coating it once wrapped with CQuartz. I plan on keeping the vehicle forever (I still have my first new car, 88 GT-S Toyota). So, I wanted it completely done.

I ordered in December and was at the big party at the showroom in Naples. I am going with Power of Excellence, the XPel installer here. SW Clear Bra was great but very busy and I'm picky, I want personal attention.
