yeah... brought it to tesla service center, they said its the little corner where i curb rash it somehow bent the rim just so slightly which the tire rubber itself cant seat properly on the rim, if you look at the video closely you can see the little rash part everytime that hit 6 o'clock position the sound comes on.Did you call Tesla Service?
still surprises me, that curb rash is from a pothole and yet that minor damage created the sound. thats crazy! ive been people with whole rim rashed up and yet no sound.yeah... brought it to tesla service center, they said its the little corner where i curb rash it somehow bent the rim just so slightly which the tire rubber itself cant seat properly on the rim, if you look at the video closely you can see the little rash part everytime that hit 6 o'clock position the sound comes on.
oh wow you cant even tell from the outside! i'll definently check that out. I just cant get my head wrapped around how a pothole can do that such damage haha. it dosent even look that bad compare to the others.@cottywoddy Oh I see it now. I was not watching the video at regular size so I did not notice the curb.
It just happened on how you hit the curb unfortunately. You may want to get a set of AlloyGator wheel protectors; I have them on my MYP shown in here.
I had the exact same sounds. No curb rash though. I found a few other threads here that said check the wheel nut covers.anyone know what that sound is??
oh wow instresting, SC was asking me to just buy new wheels but i was like really 900$ for that sound and cause by a little rash? no way. Thank you for the post that helped alot. ill message SC and see if they can do this instead of just selling me brand new tire.it's from a sticker that's on the tire bead from the manufacturer on the inside of the tire. Only fix is to remove the tire and either remove the sticker or sand it down. Or you can wait a few thousand miles and it will wear off. Had the same issue and it took mine 15k miles to go away.

"Squishy" sound during low speed <15mph - Performance Y
Guys if your car has less than 2000 miles, just drive it more. if its more maybe it needs a little more time. 100% if the noise you hear is the same as the videos and you took the center cap off. Its just the tire compound.teslamotorsclub.com

Model Y creaking noise from wheels
There is a weird creaking noise coming from all 4 wheels of a 2023 Model Y when rolling slowly. Anyone know what that is?teslamotorsclub.com
Did you try removing and reinstalling the wheel cap? It's a 10 second check and you could save yourself a trip to the SC. That was the source of my squeak and it sounded exactly like yours.oh wow instresting, SC was asking me to just buy new wheels but i was like really 900$ for that sound and cause by a little rash? no way. not yet, ill head down to the garage and do that shortly, is there a tool i need to do that?Did you try removing and reinstalling the wheel cap? It's a 10 second check and you could save yourself a trip to the SC. That was the source of my squeak and it sounded exactly like yours.
A small allen key works well. There is a hole to pop the cap off the rim to access the lugs. Take the car for a spin without the caps on and that will eliminate that possibility.not yet, ill head down to the garage and do that shortly, is there a tool i need to do that?

It's possible that the sticker removal would also indirectly fix the issue as by taking off the wheel one would have to take off/reinstall caps.oh my god it fixes it. i cant hear it anymore after driving it around the garage thats crazy!
Not for me. I never liked the look of the cap and removed it the first day. I used lug covers and still had the squishy noise. Finally went away a couple months ago but then I switched rims. Good luckIt's possible that the sticker removal would also indirectly fix the issue as by taking off the wheel one would have to take off/reinstall caps.
I've never seen uberturbines on an MYP without a cap. Can you share a picture? Not for me. I never liked the look of the cap and removed it the first day. I used lug covers and still had the squishy noise. Finally went away a couple months ago but then I switched rims. Good luck
