This channel (https://www.youtube.com/@Vera_and_Christian) is a good example of all of the things that are wrong with ICE cars.
I started watching it because I have an old Land Rover that I am trying to keep running until I can replace it with an EV but every episode illustrates just how hopelessly complex ICE vehicles are.
The people on this channel approach the problems with good humor and are excellent (German) mechanics but I keep thinking that ICE vehicles are hopelessly complicated and fragile and why not just get an EV.
