Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I agree, the share weighting makes it hard to see the size of retail investors voting against Elon. The didn't-bother-to-vote count is however certainly retail investors. They definitely became more engaged but we can't be certain if that engagement was positive or negative. But the law of...

The other vote for comparison is from June 2014 where they used slightly different methodology where votes not for Elon were not broken out in "against" and "abstained". But we can combine those in the more recent years and it doesn't significantly alter the numbers. The shareholder meeting on...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I understand that TSLA stock performance over the period is dominated by market macros. Maybe many of the shareholders voting aren't able to see that, but then maybe they can. As I said there are many factors mudding the waters.

The latest shareholder vote results are out. They can be compared with...

I know quite a few good-hearted people. None of them have been disowned by any of their family members. I also know (just professionally) a few black-hearted people who seemed to be filled with hate for for groups of people (as far as I can tell this appears to be a part of their religion as...

Maybe they can win some defamation lawsuits against twitter. Twitter is now making continuous false claims that these people are paying to support something when they are not. If for example, this diminishes Stephen King's audience because he is seen as a mark/tool/right-winger, etc, then this...

Explanation why no responsive...

What part of the crusade against the woke agenda is helping to feed starving Africans? Pandering to the racists, anti-Semites, misogynists, climate deniers, ultra-greedy, homophobes, gun-nuts, etc. is somehow relieving their "hectic and stressful lives" so they can "fix" the lives of others? Still not an equal comparison. Tesla's lease is 36 months, Toyota's is 39 months. It's hard to make a precise comparison because for the Toyota there are 6 additional $369 payments that you must make but you also get to use the car for 6 more months. Was there also a difference in allowed mileage?

Worse than the filing was their settlement terms - they forced Tesla to pay a $20 Million fine while prohibiting them from making an insurance claim to pay it. You seem to have conflated the first generation RAV4 BEV (produced entirely by Toyota because Tesla didn't even exist in 1997) with the 2nd generation RAV4 BEV that had the Tesla powertrain (first available in 2012). Well there is the big problem that one of the core beliefs of the Woke Mind Virus is that global warming is real. Elon's new mission is to irradicate the Woke Mind Virus, so sooner or later he will probably be saying (or implying) that global warming is a hoax.

That explains phantom braking! If he takes it into bankruptcy, wouldn't the stock becomes worthless and he would no longer have any ownership stake in it? Only the secured creditors should have ownership interest in a bankruptcy proceeding. I don't see them wanting to allow Elon to continue to run the company.

Another clarification you should make is that the "prediction error" on the graph is Actual TSLA - Predicted TSLA. That's important because it could have been defined with the opposite sign.
