    You have to wait. At this point you will be forced to get delivery within 2-3 weeks or lose $250. They have lots of inventory, so assignment of VIN would be immediately.

    Interesting.. perhaps things have changed. Last time when put the deposit towards the purchase. Tesla person called and said i could pay in cash or get my own loan but not Tesla finance per Michigan law.

    That doesn't help in states that requires full payment before car can enter state. This is due to some crap dealer law. And that financing cannot be from Tesla.

    Everything they play games like this, our expectations should increase by $500 discount. So expectations should be atleast $5.5k. Not $5k like it was a week ago.

    Possible to sugarcoat poor earnings report next week. Unfortunately that won't work. Tesla is a great company with great products but still can't see how they are worth 10x that of GM. As for the discounts, absolutely they are coming back in some form.

    They are getting ready for massive discounts at the end of Quarter. MY is in a tough spot, everyone knows redesign is coming, less than a year from now. This is just a small bump before they do the same again.

    Tesla updated inventory search, which no longer allows sort by price etc. Am I missing something?
