Black hole - removing central console

Tried one of those as well, used it to look in the crevices and still nothing. Really weird how this bit of plastic has just up and vanished.

Black hole - removing central console

Went for it today. Central console came out quite easily, disconnected all the bits and bobs and didn't manage to electrocute myself and the car didn't explode either. Sadly the missing bottom to the key fob has entirely disappeared. It's nowhere in that central "channel", and I went and...

Black hole - removing central console

Perfect pictures, thank you. It has gone in here: I agree, it looks likely I'm going to have to go through the procedure as if I'm removing it entirely, even if I only do have to bring it up a few inches to be able to get access. Mine is a 2021 LR, delivered in June. Definitely will remove the...

Black hole - removing central console

So if you look at the gap between the seat and the console (yes that tiny gap) from the mid-seat backwards there’s a small recess that lets stuff slip through and inside, directly under the console. Using flexible scope there’s a whole load of wiring inside…. Managed to get the side panels off...

Black hole - removing central console

So I just had the back of my Model 3 key fob fall down perfectly in to the gap between the driver seat and the console, then proceed to go straight down the hole under the console to be lost forever in the black hole change pit. Is it worth taking the centre console out to get it? How easy is...

    Frunk opening by itself

Agreed - hadn't really thought about it happening in motion as all events so far have been whilst parked, but it's definitely a possibility. Nothing in the frunk to trigger the emergency release either.

    Frunk opening by itself

For the past few months I've been having problems with my M3 LR where the frunk randomly opens by itself - all I get is an app notification. It happens randomly, without pattern, both when plugged in or not, and at home or elsewhere. It isn't super frequent - maybe once a week - but I'm on...

Tesla asking for votes on SuperCharger locations [UK and Ireland]

Sadly as somebody who uses the M50 and then the M5, Gloucester services for the Gridserve chargers are too far south. Strensham would cover both the M5 and the M50 run in to Wales. Of course, the state of charging in Wales is another issue entirely. There's a planned supercharger in Camarthen...

Tesla asking for votes on SuperCharger locations [UK and Ireland]

Thanks! I've voted, but they really need one on the M5 between Bristol and Birmingham. You know, right where the Strensham services are...

    Andersen EV charger support

Andersen was selectable when I signed up to Intelligent, but if it's done via the car, should be okay to continue using the A2 in dumb mode then?

    Andersen EV charger support

I've realised that this also probably snookers my Intelligent Octopus, as this might need the charger to be "smart"? Any ideas?

    Andersen EV charger support

Oh biscuits. That's really annoying considering the cost of the A2 in the first place :/

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

If left overnight it will not charge - so I can come out in the morning and have gained absolutely nothing. This, obviously, has screwed me over on several occasions already. There are no schedules running on the Andersen or the Tesla app/car itself. The fact that bump charging doesn't work is...

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

Hi all, We're new IO customers having moved over from Go (boo hiss price rises etc). However I'm having a lot of trouble with charging the car on IO and wonder if anybody can shed a light. 2021 Model 3 LR, charger is an Andersen A2. Test charge fine. So the car gets plugged in after 1700 and...

    Key Fob + Key Band

Very secure, doesn't budge at all.
