Model 3 losing significant range after supposedly charging to charge limit

Yeah definitely odd. After recharged back up it charged to 71% instead of 70% and didn’t lose any range while sitting in the garage for two days lol.

Model 3 losing significant range after supposedly charging to charge limit

I will check cabin overheat protection. Car was in the garage that was 78 degrees but maybe the interior was warm for some reason. No third party apps. Good tip on the password.

Model 3 losing significant range after supposedly charging to charge limit

Hello- Does anyone else have this issue? A couple of times in the past month, I’ve charged my model 3 to say 70% state of charge, it gives me a notification when it is done charging and then a couple of hours later I open the app and it starts charging again. For example, tonight I charged...

Model 3 normally charges at 237-239v but at 231v now?

Hey there. I just plugged in for another charge session. Right when I plugged in it was 227v for one second then jumped to 242v at 3 mph charge rate. Once it got to normal charge speed it went from 240 to 236 for a minute and has now settled at 237v Any additional thoughts based on this?

Model 3 normally charges at 237-239v but at 231v now?

Thanks all. I’m going to keep an eye on this. I felt around the outlet plate, the adapter, the mobile charging unit itself, and even the breaker and there was warmth but nothing too hot to touch. I was charging in mid afternoon compared to evening when I usually charge so that may or may not...

Model 3 normally charges at 237-239v but at 231v now?

Likely just high demand in the neighborhood or something? I was charging mid day vs when I usually charge in the evening. Back up to 237 right now (530pm)

Model 3 normally charges at 237-239v but at 231v now?

Hey all, Apologies if this has been asked previously but I couldn’t find the exact same issue anywhere. Today I noticed that my model 3 is showing 231V while charging. I charge it at 30/32 Amps and usually see 237-240V. Any ideas why so much voltage sag? Thanks Chris

Holiday Update (2021.44.25.2)- A Big Disappointment

Click the temperature and it opens the heating and cooling menu. There are front and rear menus there. But still. Went from one click to two to turn the seat heaters on or off.

Holiday Update (2021.44.25.2)- A Big Disappointment

Yeah this is a frustrating update. I get trying to make the screen look cleaner but the quick click sentry mode, tire pressure indicator, energy usage/trip card, and seat heaters were really useful in one click. Now they take 2-3 clicks. It feels like the last two updates with changes to the...

    Supercharger - Seaside, OR

Thanks. I should have looked in the car. I think you may be right the app is having issues.

    Supercharger - Seaside, OR

Is this supercharging experiencing any issues? We are in rockaway and the app isn’t showing it as a nearby supercharger.

Washington SB 5444 - to impose a mileage tax on owners of electric and hybrid vehicles

I like the pay per mile idea but it should add a weight factor as well and EVs should be 1.5 cents per mile and gas vehicles 2.5 cents. Remove the gas tax, implement RUC per mile and add a flat weight tax (x amount per pounds or whatever calculation). Incentivize EVs a bit more. Electricity is...

SB 6586 - Do NOT let this happen!

Geez even my relatively low mileage of 9,000/yr would still be $225. I kind of like the pay by mile though because more road usage should cost more. Should factor in weight too maybe.
