Victory for Tesla!

Does this mean they still may not allow Tesla to get the rebate. So, all this was to let Tesla discuss fairness but not necessarily get it?

I cancelled my order yesterday evening, I gave rebate cancellation as the reason. We will try again in the future.

I made the complaint online. Here's to hoping something happening, someway and somehow, for Tesla orders to go through for rebates. If not, I will cancel :(

I will cancel if there are no rebates. I am sitting on the fence. If Tesla calls and says either buy or cancel. I would have to cancel at that point.

When did you place your reservation and your order? What's the configuration?

I am on the same boat. If we do not get incentive, we have to cancel it. We are still interested in Tesla, but we will have to wait longer to buy our Tesla. I think Tesla will offer cancellation and full refund to everyone, even weeks later. They will have no trouble selling this amazing car.

Sad, but I think this is true. The wording on their website looks like it is to exclude Tesla. Maybe MTO can provide a clarification to see if it applies to Tesla. Can calling them help? Will one of them answer a specific question like this?

I think they purposely worded that way to exclude Tesla orders, they know if they give a window, Tesla will do a rush delivery. It is possible that their budget was already shrinking anyway. Otherwise, why would they mention consumer in the first point and mention "dealership with manufacturer"...

Anything can happen. Federal still say that the money from cap and trade will go to the people, and not for Ford to reallocate the money to something else. Canada might very well implement country wide incentive.
