Got my MX on Monday of this week, 100% agreed on all points.

I am in Utah. This may/may not have anything to do with things, but I didn't bug anyone, at all. We watched the website like a hawk, and when it was time to pay, upload forms, etc. we were on it within minutes. The VIN showed up in the source code, and we didn't blink, we got the MVPA...

I took delivery of a 2020 X yesterday. The seats are incredibly comfortable (my background is multiple BMW's, which I think are great). I am glad there is less glossy stuff in the cabin, seems like less places to get fingerprints or scratches.

Final update. We ordered our Tesla Model X (6 seat) on November 14th. We took delivery yesterday. One interesting note, they appear to have removed the motorized headrests, ours did not come with them. Trying to figure out what was add/removed in our particular hardware revision.

Ordered MX 6 Seat on November 14th. VIN showed up in the source code today (27 November). Made the payment, our MVPA won't load just yet. Patience continues to be a virtue.
