Tesla open up the SuC network [in UK]

Are there still issues around no Tesla's taking up two bays across the country? Saw an EQC park up using two bays and walked off in Cardiff last week, at a surprisingly busy time when there was a M3 and MY waiting. Are there rules in place that can prevent this (esp if a queue). If not, should...

How to stop using home charger

Had a wallbox pulsar fitted this week (not used yet) but you can lock it from the app. Quite impressed by this feature, at least until the moat is excavated...

New to all this...does this mean that the range is still ~326 and not 351....surprised that the range has increased yet again (I'm sure it was 316 when I ordered)

    Octopus Energy referral code please

What do the referral codes do? Edf go35 is working out better for me...unless this tips the balance?

    Cost comparison for EV chargers

I went through evolution solutions and have paid £529 with the grant for the pulsar. Can get additional £25 off for people I refer (not promoting). They seem to have few slots left before the grant finishes, but I'm still waiting for north west electricity to upgrade my service head as it's...

    Stated Range vs Real World

Thanks...it's a real mindset change that you need to adopt, which of course I'm not against, otherwise I would have stuck with an ICE. The most important way to look at it is, I suppose is that you're not actually going to a petrol pump, but going home and plugging in. A good point about the...

    Stated Range vs Real World

Fascinating thread! Ive got a MY on order and tbh, I've not really thought too much on range as I just want to get on with using it as I'm have a home charger. But this thread has opened my eyes to people's anxieties/frustrations...! I have a 40 mile round trip to work...ideally I don't want to...

    Model Y UK Delivery

Just got back from test drive. Ordered from lease company and have VIN. Been informed that delivery is 17 Feb - 6th March. I've not received any texts to choose collection date, but the CS showed me this. He wasn't convinced too much by this date (see pic). Wonder if this could be accurate...

    Model Y UK Delivery

Went to Tesla in Trafford and have booked a test drive. From a lease company they have sent a VIN and said that delivery/collection options will be given to me and to expect it between 17th Feb and 3rd March. CS inside this collection site in Trafford were on the whole, indifferent, but said...

    Model Y UK Delivery

She was reading off some information that they received this morning, where it said the MYP will come with a parcel shelf. Notably, what she read out to me did not mention 12v battery upgrade, but more in keeping with other comments made above about a larger battery pack@82kw, which is...

    Model Y UK Delivery

Quite. Even I was confused why a 12v battery would cause such significant range increase. Either way...good news; shame other important physical items such as a parcel shelf is not for the current batch...and the demand for retro-fitting a parcel shelf would be huge; I'm sure they will charge.
