These locations have been open for several weeks now. They were showing up in the map in the car until a few days ago. Now when I look at available superchargers on the car's map, it shows chargers as far away as Sandusky, but not the two nearby. I have seen cars parked and apparently charging...

I stopped at the Westbound service plaza to check it out. The locations don't show up in the car navigation, but the the charger I plugged in to gave me about 85 kW, which is about right for a 250 kW charger when the car's battery is half full. 1A through 1D have cones blocking them. 2A...

I saw that they were working on the electrical cabinets last week. I assume it was Tesla employees since they were driving Teslas. I can check the Westbound side on my way home from work today.

They redid the concrete at the Broadview turnpike locations (Eastbound and Westbound) a while back. I wonder if it was the same contractor. My post on that thread.

(Eastbound) They’ve torn out the curbs to redo them. I chatted with a guy from the construction company. He said they weren’t satisfied with the smoothness of the concrete.

The eighth charger is in place on both sides of the turnpike. As I suspected, they installed a drive-in stall suitable for people pulling trailers.

There's a hardware hack that allows that. Youtubers "Frenchie" and "Dirty Tesla" installed HDMI ports on their displays so they can capture high-quality video of the screen. Check the image quality in this screenshot: Edit: found a picture of the mod. As you can see, it's a bit bulky.

I would hope that what he said recently implies that there's been a major rework of the code. Referring to it as "(actually) smart" is a bit Elon, though...

FWIW, Musk is claiming that Smart Summon is "almost" done, whatever that means.

They started installing chargers at the Westbound plaza on Friday, so both directions are making rapid progress.

The chargers are all mounted at the Towpath (Eastbound) plaza. Still a lot of finishing work to do, but it's nice to see the progress. They were pouring concrete for the footers yesterday at the Great Lakes (Westbound) plaza, so they're just a couple of days behind on that side.
