I have an LR RWD version that has for me proven to be a real pleasure to drive. There are so many things I like about the car, but mostly... it just works really well. Before I got mine last year, I was really skeptical with a slight lean towards being worried about the decision I made before...

I go to Montreal one or twice a month on average(about an hour.5 away), and on my last two trips, I stopped counting at 6 Model 3's going the other way. I usually fill at the Dix/30, and I rarely see less then 4 other cars using the super charger there. About the same for Quebec City(Levis).

OP, your posts make absolutely no sense. If I didn't know any better, I would say you are just trolling to make waves. Are you sure your real reason isn't to try and sway people from buying an electric car? I wonder how many people in the ICE world complain when the manufacturer adds upgrades...

In terms of charging, alternatively you might also check if it is possible to charge at work. I used a 110V plug for the first 6 months of ownership with no problems doing about 50 miles/day round trip. You can add around 50 mile of range if your car sits plugged in for 8 hrs while your at work.

Like you, I declined at configuring. After getting the car last summer, I tried the trial version while taking a long road trip across the US. I bought FSD with the promotion that just ended. The version I trialed did not have NAV on AP, so that is a nice touch, although I use and think of it...

Actually not true. I was able to reach someone in customer support in California, and I live in Canada. I will admit that I had to be persistent likely because it was end of Quarter, but I was able to resolve my issue. Considering your long standing history with Tesla, I find it hard to believe...

Would you have taken delivery AS IS with no fix from Tesla given I don't need another car? NO WAY, even if it was my only car!!! The only thing I would have done differently is to make sure that Tesla management at HQ gets the full story. The only thing I wish the OP would consider is to help...

Regarding your inquiries about the FSD. I have found two instances where it is stated that customers who pre-purchase the FSD features before it is released will be able to receive the hardware upgrade at no cost. Here is a link to a tweet directly from Elon stating this. Elon Musk on Twitter...

I get the frustration, but it is another end of quarter period which = off the map crazy number of deliveries. Being from Montreal, I know that the cars are sent in large batches. It is probably safe to say that you will be in the next batch for your area. Good luck on whatever you decide.

Update for anyone interested. Just got off the phone with Tesla vehicle support regarding FSD. I was given email confirmation following my call that HW3 will be included free of charge (FOC) for all Model 3's with preordered FSD. I was also told that the price change will happen as of midnight...

Fair enough and I agree, but since he hasn't actually received the thing he paid for as a pre-order, it wouldn't be unreasonable for Tesla to take that into consideration either.
