I would add that you replace with a socket from a quality manufacturer, my default is 'MK' and would suggest you stay away from the cheap brands.

I know of a Skoda Enyaq that's been sitting in a showroom with a single figure charge level for months. I'll bet when they do finally charge it they will charge to 100% and leave it at that for the unsuspecting purchaser.

And as we all know they rarely if ever bother to put the marks right before moving the car on despite charging you for them, just look at the delays for used Tesla's over on another thread. A lot of the delays are being blamed on cosmetic damage rectification.
